The approach

Therapy that takes you seriously.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationship patterns, and the quieter struggles that are harder to name. My approach is warm and direct — I'll meet you where you are, but I won't just reflect your words back at you.

Grounded

Real talk, no jargon. You'll always know where we are and why. I don't believe therapy has to feel mysterious or clinical to be effective.

Curious

We go toward the hard stuff with genuine interest — not fear. Understanding is often the first step toward change.

Honest

I'll tell you what I notice. You deserve a therapist who's direct — one who cares enough to say the hard thing.

Collaborative

We set the agenda together. You're never just sitting there while I analyze you. This is a partnership, not a lecture.

Rooted

I draw from CBT, somatic approaches, attachment theory, and the Enneagram — not because they're trendy, but because they work together to create lasting change.

"Accurately naming an experience... gives us the power of understanding, meaning, and choice." — Brené Brown, Atlas of the Heart

What I treat

What brings people here.

1

Anxiety & Overwhelm

Whether it's constant overthinking, physical tension, or a sense that you're always bracing for something — we'll work to understand what's driving it and build steadier ground. Anxiety often has a story behind it, and understanding that story is part of how things shift.

2

Childhood Trauma & C-PTSD

Whether trauma came from a single event or accumulated quietly over years of childhood experience, we'll gently explore how past experiences are showing up in your present — in your body, your relationships, and your sense of self. No forcing, no rushing.

3

OCD & Intrusive Thoughts

If intrusive thoughts, rituals, or compulsions are taking up more space than you'd like — there's a reason for that, and there's a path through it. Using ERP (the most well-researched approach for OCD), we'll work gradually and collaboratively to loosen their grip. OCD is highly treatable.

4

Relationship Patterns

People-pleasing, codependency, conflict avoidance, difficulty trusting — these patterns usually have deep roots. Therapy can help you understand where they came from and begin building relationships that feel safer and more honest.

7

Teens & Adolescents

A supportive space for preteens and teens who need room to reflect and make sense of their world — without judgment, and with genuine care. I work with parents too when it's helpful.

5

Identity & Self-Worth

If your sense of self feels fragile or unclear, or you struggle to know who you are outside of what you do for others — this work can help you reconnect with something more grounded. Not a performance, but actually you.

6

Depression & Low Mood

Persistent sadness, low motivation, or feeling disconnected from your own life. We'll work to understand what's underneath and find a path forward that doesn't require you to just "try harder."

Group Therapy Coming Soon

90-min sessions in community with others navigating similar experiences. Lower cost, real connection. Join the waitlist to be notified.

It's a beautiful day to do hard things.

Most people come in with a feeling, not a diagnosis. That's enough.

Enneagram-informed therapy

Therapy informed by personality.

I incorporate the Enneagram into my work as an optional framework — not a requirement, and not for everyone. But for those who find it useful, it can be a powerful way to understand the patterns shaping how you see yourself and others. Not a label. A map.

Good fit?

Who this tends to work well for.

You might be a good fit if…

  • You're ready to do real work, even if you don't know where to start
  • You're curious about yourself and open to exploring patterns
  • You're dealing with anxiety, trauma, OCD, or relationship patterns
  • You're navigating something that feels bigger than you can manage alone
  • You've been in therapy before — or you're brand new to it

You might be a better fit elsewhere if…

  • You need play therapy for young children
  • You're looking for a certified sex therapist
  • Active eating disorder treatment is your primary need
  • You're navigating chemical dependency (not behavioral patterns)
  • You need intensive or crisis-level support — I'm happy to help you find it
  • You're a parent who requires ongoing updates on your teen's session content

It depends on what you're working on. Some people feel significant shifts in 3–6 months. Others do longer-term work. We'll check in regularly and you decide when you're done — there's no required number of sessions.
There are so many therapists out there — different styles, approaches, personalities. It might not be a fit, and that's completely okay. No hard feelings at all. If something feels off, please tell me. I'm happy to help point you toward someone who might be a better match.
Different therapist, different fit, different timing. A lot of people who had a neutral or disappointing experience with therapy find that the right match changes everything. I'd rather you give it another shot than write it off entirely.
Yes — with three legal exceptions: if I believe there's imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else, if there's suspected child abuse, or if records are subpoenaed by a court. Outside of those situations, what you share stays between us.
If something feels off — they're withdrawing, struggling at school, anxious, or you just sense something has shifted — trust that instinct. You don't need a diagnosis to reach out. A free consult is a low-stakes way to talk it through.
No — and that's intentional. I keep teen sessions confidential unless safety requires otherwise. This protects our rapport and gives your teen the space to actually open up. I ask that parents respect this boundary, which I know isn't always easy.
Venting can be part of it, but it's not the goal. Good therapy is a working relationship — we're looking for patterns, building insight, and making real change. You'll leave most sessions with something to think about or try differently.
